NYAPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay an official visit to Myanmar on January 17 and 18 by the invitation of Myanmar President Win Myint.
They are hoping that Myanmar and China find a solution to deal with peace in northern Myanmar, announced United Wa State Army (UWSA) on January 15.

The announcement said the peace issue in northern Myanmar is related with Myanmar-China relation, relationship between people from both countries and development.
The UWSA is acting as a leading role in Federal Political Negotiation Consultative Committee (FPNCC), which is organized with northern allies and members of the FPNCC have not signed the nationwide ceasefire agreement (NCA) yet.
The FPNCC members are United Wa State Army (UWSA), National Democratic Alliance Army (NDAA), Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP), Kachin Independence Army (KIA), Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and Arakan Army (AA).
Moreover the UWSA said they are wishing Silk Road trade of China and China-Myanmar Economic Corridor project will take effect on economy, trade and basic infrastructure sectors early in least developed areas where ethnics are living.
It said the visit of Chinese President is provided the essence to promote China-Myanmar relation in the time when the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar is met. It will be a foundation to build a community with a shared future between people from both countries.
