AITI conducts e-commerce survey for consumers
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN) - In line with the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam’s (AITI) functions and duties to promote the use of Internet and electronic commerce (e-commerce) and establish regulatory functions for that purpose, it is conducting an e-commerce survey for consumers.
The objective of this survey is to study e-commerce adoption by the general public in Brunei Darussalam and to identify factors that influence consumers’ behaviour towards e-commerce.
The results of the study will be used to formulate plans and regulatory frameworks to promote effective usage of e-commerce, and to increase consumers’ confidence to make transactions and trade online.
The survey was launched on January 8 and will run for one month. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in the survey which is available at the AITI website. Alternatively, they may access the survey directly via http://bit.ly/ecomm18.
