VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) - Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is ensuring that construction of high quality infrastructure continues at pace in many countries, including Laos.

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) - After five years in the making, the Nam Ngiep 1 Hydropower Project (NNP1) in Borikhamxay province of Laos started generating electricity on September 5 for export to Thailand.

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) - The government of Cambodia decided on Wednesday to purchase 2,400 MW of electricity from two power plants in Laos, according to the Phnom Penh Post.
